In my opinion, out of all the works displayed at the RA, the Yosemite Series were the most moving. The canvases were perfectly positioned at the end of the exhibition in a small space so that you almost felt you were part of the landscape and have a very simple Japanese like quality to them. Amazing – what a privilege to have been able to see this exhibition.
Exactly – and it was an unexpected surprise. No photos available either – fortunately i managed to grab the one photo when the image police weren’t looking….!
